On Recruiting People for the Priesthood

Hopefully, you have found your way to this page by following links we have placed in “advertisements” on our various websites and social media accounts; if this is the case, then undoubtedly you have a multitude of questions that we will attempt to answer.

The Archdiocese of Saint Michael’s is a jurisdiction or church in the tradition established by the Old Catholic Bishops of Utrecht, however, we do not identify as an Old Catholic Church nor are we in any way in communion with the Old Catholic Bishops.

We do identify as a Sacramental and Liturgical church, in that, our worship services are patterned after the historic Sacramental and Liturgical churches such as the Roman Catholic, Eastern Orthodox, Anglican, and other similar churches.  We do have very valid lines of Apostolic Succession and we believe in the same Creeds and the Seven Sacraments.

In general, our membership is not comprised of disaffected Catholics nor is it made up of what might be termed as Catholic wannabes, but rather men and women who have come to this spiritual path from various churches in search of a spirituality they were not finding in either the catholic or protestant churches.

Our seminary, featuring distance learning programs, offers not only a path to the Priesthood but also a path to becoming a license Minister in the Protestant tradition.

We also have a course designed to train you to become an Exorcist (catholic) or a deliverance Minister (protestant).
